Weird Weather

The 2017 spring and summer in British Columbia has been one for the weather books. We started off with floods in the spring and ended up with an incredibly dry summer (which led to a lot of forest fires). How did these weather extremes affect the Ambrosia apple crop? Find out in this blog.

An Apple a Day…

We all know how the old adage goes, but can an apple a day really keep the doctor away? It turns out that there are a lot of different ways that apples can be good for your wellbeing. We know you love Ambrosia apples, but we’ve got 10 health-boosting reasons to love them even more. Click here  to discover all ten.

Tourist Must-Do

Travelling through British Columbia? The Similkameen Valley is a beautiful place to take a road trip. It also happens to be the birthplace of the Ambrosia apple; a fact recounted in a recent travel article published by the Province newspaper. The writer made sure to eat an Ambrosia apple during his stop in Keremeos (along with a Samosa – which we have to admit, sounds like a tasty combination). That’s what makes road trips so great – getting a taste of the local favourites.

We love hearing from Ambrosia fans (on the road or otherwise). Stop by and say hello to us on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram and YouTube channel.
