Ambrosia Apples Announce Curling Sponsorships
Ambrosia Apples in the House (that’s curling humour)
Ambrosia is happy to get behind the growing curling movement in Canada as a sponsor of the Home Hardware Canada Cup 2016, the 2016 Travelers Curling Club Championship, Curl BC and as the presenting sponsors of the 2017 Canadian Juniors Championships.
We’re looking forward to sharing Ambrosia apple samples with spectators at some of the upcoming tournaments. And, to providing curlers at all 11 of the Curl BC playdown events with extra energy courtesy of fresh Ambrosia apples.
You might be thinking, ‘what does curling have to do with apples?’. Curling is a sport that is multi-faceted. It encourages people to get out and be active, to work as a team, think and communicate about strategy, and it’s a lot of fun. For us, that matched up nicely with what we stand for – healthy living and strong community.
We celebrate the health benefits of Ambrosia apples through our blog, videos and social media. Plus, we know Ambrosia apples are a great snack for athletes both before and after the game. And, we would be nothing without our strong community of growers (hopefully you’ve had a chance to meet a few of them at your farmer’s market and through our video profiles).
So, you see, curling and apples might seem like they have nothing in common but in actuality, our values are very similar.
If you’re new to curling, you can check it out on television or drop by one of these events. Keep your eyes peeled for our sampling team and enjoy an Ambrosia apple slice while you watch.
