Did you know today is National Peanut Butter Lover’s Day? A long-time friend of Ambrosia apples, Peanut Butter deserves its day!

According to historians, Peanut Butter was created by the Inca! Later, it was brought to modern times by John Harvey Kellogg in 1895. The purpose was to help older people have a source of protein when they couldn’t chew meat. Peanut Butter was first sold to the public at the St. Louis World Fair in 1904.

Now Peanut Butter is a favourite used worldwide on toast, apples, pickle sandwiches, sweet and savoury recipes and more!

Some of our favourite ways to pair Ambrosia apples and Peanut Butter are:
