December 2020 – Winter Solstice

Winter has arrived. Time to curl up beside the fire with a good book, and a tasty cup of Ambrosia Apple Cider – CLICK HERE.

We know that it was a difficult year for many, and we greatly appreciate each and every one of you. During our conversations with farmers and consumers alike, there is a recurring message about how important it is to support each other. That includes buying locally-sourced produce, including Ambrosia apples. We also encourage you to support your local crafters and small businesses. We can get through this together! Again, thank you and all the best for the holidays!

Winter Solstice

Winter Solstice is upon us. The winter days will begin to get a little longer, and we can rejoice in our many holiday celebrations. Over the past few months, we’ve introduced a few new blog series, and have had some great feedback about them. If there is ever anything you’d like to see, please let us know on any one of our social media channels. We’d love to hear from you!

Meet the Farmers Recap

One of the series that we’ve been excited about presenting is our Meet the Farmers, where we’ve been catching up with some of the Ambrosia apple orchardists whose videos are featured on our website. Last month, we caught up with Natalina Araujo

Come Dine With Me

Another series that we have thoroughly enjoyed is Come Dine With Me. We have been challenging home cooks to come up with a three course menu, where Ambrosia apples are the star of each dish. Last month, we featured a young family from North Vancouver, where dad, John, created a delicious appetizer and main, while his teenage daughter made some delectable cinnamon rolls for dessert: CLICK HERE

Would you like to give it a try? Share your interest by contacting us on our Instagram page http://instagram.com/bcambrosia, or by posting and tagging @bcambrosia and #ComeDineWithMe. We will contact you for a few details, and if your menu is featured, you’ll win a fancy Ambrosia apple bag! Check out our recipes CLICK HERE.
