February 2020 – Preparing to pick and packing up some deliciousness

Take That, Winter
Canadian winters can be a lot of fun if you embrace the weather but the shorter days, cold air, and impulse to stay inside can pose some problems. Luckily, Ambrosia apples can be a big part of your arsenal in fighting the effects of winter. We recently shared a blog on our website about how eating Ambrosia apples can keep the effects of winter at bay. You can find it here.

Recipe Video – Ambrosia Apple Turkey Chili
Another great way to combat winter is with a hearty bowl of chili. This recipe is spicy, flavourful, and filling. But this isn’t your typical chili! We use turkey instead of beef. Plus, the Ambrosia apples provide a sweet balance to the spices. What a great meal to cap off a wintery day. Check out the recipe video here.
